Owner and founder, Greg Higgs has began working with turf grass in 1973. His passion for growing disease-free and pest-free sod has made Ideal Sod and our partners successful. Since 1985, we have delivered over 150 million square feet of sod for the NW. That's about 2,600 football fields.
We set a very high standard in the Northwest for quality sod. You may find cheaper sod elsewhere. But you won't find a guarantee like ours anywhere.
Pasco, Washington (SEE MAP), with its benign climate and soils is the ideal location to grow Ideal Sod. Experience, research and top quality seed make the difference. Our specially climatized mix of bluegrass, rye and fescue performs exceptionally well in shady yards or fully exposed sports fields.
It's this simple. Follow our instructions for site preparation, installation, irrigation and regular care. If your sod fails within 10 days, we'll replace it. If you see evidence of deterioration, call us immediately. If there is neglect, we'll tell you how to improve it. If the sod failure is a problem with the product or its delivery, we'll replace it.
